The Restore Venice Blvd. Neighborhood Traffic Watch Program

The Neighborhood Traffic Watch Program was a response to residents' concerns about accidents on Venice Blvd. after the lane thefts on May 20, 2017. Neighbors traveling on or living on and near Venice Blvd. began witnessing more accidents, including those involving cyclists in the new "protected" bike lanes.

Our volunteer Jason began compiling the photos and eyewitness accounts that were posted on, Facebook, Twitter and the PulsePoint app. He goes to the location of accidents to ask local businesses and resident for their eyewitness accounts as well.

We want to thank all our volunteers who contribute to this Neighborhood Traffic Watch Program.

Attend the LADOT Open House for Venice Blvd on March 14th, 6 to 8 PM at Mar Vista Recreation Center. Click here for more details.
