The Restore Venice Blvd. Neighborhood Traffic Watch Program

The Neighborhood Traffic Watch Program was a response to residents' concerns about accidents on Venice Blvd. after the lane thefts on May 20, 2017. Neighbors traveling on or living on and near Venice Blvd. began witnessing more accidents, including those involving cyclists in the new "protected" bike lanes.

Our volunteers began compiling the photos and eyewitness accounts that were posted on Nextdoor.com, Facebook, Twitter and the PulsePoint app. They go to the location of accidents to ask local businesses and resident for their eyewitness accounts as well.

We want to thank all our volunteers who contribute to this Neighborhood Traffic Watch Program.
